Wade and his wife, Sharon, moved from Texas to Bandon in September 2022 after entering retirement. Wade spent 30 years with Target Corporation as a Senior Distribution Director leading a major distribution center operation in east Texas for 22 years. Wade is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served as an Artillery Officer in the United States Marine Corps for six years. Wade and Sharon have three adult children and two grandchildren. He is an avid bird watcher and enjoys being outdoors. Prior to joining FOBPR as their Treasurer, he volunteered with Bandon’s Parks and Recreation Commission and at the Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge.

Sarah is passionate about the community, animal welfare, and the outdoors. She spent several years in Texas and Indiana, where she worked to strengthen community engagement in animal welfare, overseeing programs that included foster care, volunteer coordination, and support for shelter operations. Now proud to call Oregon home, you’ll find her outdoors rollerblading, skateboarding, running, and biking along the coast, often with her two Pomeranians in tow.

Laura and her husband, Royce, moved to Bandon in 2011. Laura is retired from middle school art teaching and a prior career as a contracting officer for the DOD/AAFES with specialization in photo and electronic equipment. Laura began her volunteer work in Bandon as a commissioner on the Bandon Parks and Recreation representing Bandon Pickleball where she serves as secretary. Laura is also a fused glass artist showing in 3 Bandon Galleries and loves showing her love of our windswept coasts in her work.

Alan grew up on the southern Oregon coast, but was relocated to Arizona when his family moved for employment. He and his wife were finally able to return in 2004. While away, he married Sandy, raised two children, graduated from the University Nebraska-Omaha, served and retired from the United States Air Force, and worked for Sun Microsystems. In the fall of 2023, he discovered disc golf and is often seen throwing discs in the Bandon city park.
