FOBPR raises funds for special park projects like StoryWalk® in Bandon City Park. FOBPR wrote a grant to help fund the project and helped coordinate and produce the first set of plaques displayed above, thanks to support from the Coos County Cultural Coalition.
With the popularity of biking in the region for residents and visitors, we were able to install bike racks around Bandon. Look for the racks at the McKay's and Ray's supermarkets and the boat basin.
FOBPR helped provide funding for a new surface and promoted pickleball in the FOBPR newsletter, Facebook, and on Nextdoor.
FOBPR promoted a mural of the
various native trees painted by Vicki Affatati. View the mural adjacent to the central bathroom station.

Several times a year, community volunteers work hard to clean up and make improvements to City Park and the Johnson Creek Greenway. They are rewarded with snacks, beverages, and hot dogs!
Due to storm damage and an aging urban forest, tree restoration is an on-going effort.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve our community . Your generous donation will fund our mission.
